A volunteer is required to assist with the day to day running of the bar, including stock management, staffing of the bar and event co‐ordination.
Guidance will be given and further information regarding the role and responsibilities can also be obtained through further conversations if interested.
- Management; management of the bar on days when the club is open for the senior section on Saturdays and Mini’s & Youth on Sundays as well as any one off events that the club is booked out for.
- Staff management; ensuring the bar is staffed sufficiently and running the bar during weekends and for events. Training of staff to ensure that all individuals are capable and understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Stock management; ensuring that orders for all stock are placed ahead of requirements including liaison with our wine supplier
- Event Co‐ordination; Liaising with clients and other members, ensuring the social calendar is managed, liaising with clients and organising staff, additional stock and any specific requirements for outside events such as extra glasses . These typically include the bi‐annual Reeds RFC Ball, 40th & 50th birthdays, Coaches Dinners etc
The ideal candidate would likely have an affiliation to the senior section of the club and be, or looking to be, more socially active within the club environment.
